Darian, 7, Dex, 4 and Denver, 2
Darian, Dex and Denver require a placement together.
The brothers were exposed to chaotic and neglectful parenting when they lived with their birth parents. They have been in the same foster placement since they first came into local authority care.
Darian is a very caring boy who enjoys adult attention and company. Dex has a lovely smile and a very cheeky laugh. Denver has a very expressive face and is often smiling and has an infectious giggle.
All 3 boys love football, cars and like to play outside. They also love to watch Power Rangers and Avengers on the TV and enjoy playing fighting games with each other!
Since being in foster care the boys have developed a love of books and stories especially at bedtime. The boys all like to please and are very inquisitive, wanting to learn lots of new things.
They all really enjoy school and nursery and are meeting their developmental milestones.
All the children are good eaters and sleep very well. Their foster carers say they have lovely manners and they can take them anywhere. The boys have a very strong and positive sibling bond.
All 3 boys are fit and healthy. There are some health issues in their wider family which adopters will need to consider, however full information will be provided.
There is a plan is for once a year indirect Letterbox contact with their sister, mum and dad.
It is also planned for adopters to have a one-off meeting with the birth parents.
These delightful children need an active and loving family who will accept them for who they are and celebrate their many achievements and talents.
They need lots of attention and stimulation from a family who are able to provide both firm and consistent routines and calm, patient and nurturing parenting strategies.
- This is a composite case study to illustrate the children who are being placed for adoption. All names are changed and the photograph is a model image.
